There will also be a creative dance performed to piano music. Between the dances, the program will present details about the traditional Japanese garment kimono, Japan’s national attire, and explain how kimono relates to Japanese dance. In addition, this event will introduce Yūzen, one of Japan’s highly skilled and celebrated kimono dyeing crafts.
